President Ghani Sets Up a Commission to Mark Death Anniversaries of Massoud and Rabbani

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has set up a 10-member commission led by Acting Defense Minister, Asadullah Khalid for ceremony to mark death anniversaries of Ahmad Shah Massoud and Burhanuddin Rabbani.
According to BNA report, in an order issued today, President Ghani mandated a 10-member commission for ceremony to mark 19th death anniversary of “National Hero” Ahmad Shah Massoud and 9th death anniversary of “Martyr of Peace” Pro. Ustad Burhanuddin Rabbani.
Based on the decree, Enayatullah Shadab head of Jamiat-e-Islami party, Enayatullah Baligh president advisor on religious affairs, Ahmad Wali Masoud head of Massoud Foundation, senior security deputy for ministry of interior, Adib Fahim head of Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim Foundation, Abdul Manan Shiway Sharq deputy minister of publication affairs for ministry of information and culture, police chief of Kabul, general head of protection and security of senior officials, head of Kabul national directorate security and head Afghanistan Radio and Television are members of the commission.
In this decree, President Ghani tasked ministry of interior, National Directorate Security and Kabul joint forces command to take serious measures for security of the ceremony.
