KABUL(BNA): In a recent meeting with a group of Uzbek investors, Mullah Mohammad Nasir Akhund, the Acting Minister of Finance, emphasized that both domestic and foreign investors can now invest confidently in various sectors across Afghanistan.
At the outset of the meeting, the Acting Minister highlighted that Afghanistan currently offers ample investment opportunities. He stated that corruption has been eradicated and nationwide security has been established, which provides a secure environment for investment. Therefore, he encouraged all investors to take advantage of these favorable conditions and invest confidently in different fields.
The Uzbek investors expressed their keen interest investing in Afghanistan’s mining, industry, electricity, and modernization systems. They also requested the necessary cooperation to facilitate their investments.
In response, the Acting Minister of Finance expressed his gratitude for the Uzbek investors’ interest in Afghanistan. He assured them of the Ministry’s full cooperation and commitment to providing the necessary facilities and support to ensure their investments in the mentioned sectors are successful.
