KABUL (BNA) Acting finance minister, Mullah Edayetullah Badri during a visit to Sar-e-Pul province on Wednesday assessed the performance of the provincial Revenue Department and the problems the revenue officers face in the province.
Mawlawi Mohammad Sadiq Hakimi, Sar-e-Pul Revenue Department director, said that the purpose of the minister’s visit to the province was to assess the activities of the department as well as the problems of revenue officers.
The acting finance minister, Mullah Edayetullah Badri, accompanied by Sar-e-Pul governor, Mohammad Yaqub Abdul Rahman Aka, and Mawlawi Mohammad Sadiq Hakimi, provincial revenue director, visited the Revenue Department and oil wells of the province.
Talking to Bakhtar News Agency, Badri said that the aim of his trip to Sar-e-Pul was to assess the problems of the Sar-e-Pul Revenue Department and the nature of petroleum extraction as well as development programs in the province.
