Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah offered condolence over the demise of Hujatul Islam Ustad Qurban Ali Urfani and expressed sympathy with the family of the late Urfani.
In the condolence message, the chief executive described the late Urfani as a great personality and politician who had served as leader of the Islamic Unity party of Afghanistan and Member of Parliament and a friend of national hero Ahmad Shah Massoud.
The late Urfani had served the nation in different capacities, especially over the past eight years and his death is a great loss, the chief executive said in the message. In the condolence message, the chief executive, besides expressing sympathy with the family, friends especially the Mujahideen also prayed may Almighty Allah rest his departed soul to eternal peace.
