National Environment Admin Chief Introduced

Kabul (BNA) Second Vice-President, Mohammad Sarwar Danesh in a ceremony attended by some cabinet members, members of parliament, heads and deputy ministers of government institutions introduced Shah Zaman Maiwandi to the officials of the National Environment Admin and said that foundation of the national environment had been established but despite this is a nascent admin, his office said the other day. 
He said this was the responsibility of both the government and the people to do more for development of the administration of the national environment.
This is to be noted that several international conventions have so far been established by the United Nations and other international entities, with membership of Afghanistan and in 2015, environment protection had been recognized as one of the key part of the sustainable targets of the UN, the statement quoted.
Afghanistan has so far approved the law on national environment and two rules related to environment, said Danesh adding Afghanistan has considered environment protection within all its policies, laws and development programs, the statement added.
