First Afghan pilgrims Flight Arrived in Kabul

KABUL (BNA) The Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs says that the Afghan pilgrims performed the Hajj ceremony without any problems this year and on Thursday the first flight, which is about 700 pilgrims, arrived in Kabul in two planes.

The ministry on Thursday said in a statement that the pilgrims were welcomed with flowers by several heads and staff of the Ministry, Hajj.

According to the source, about 6,000 pilgrims who first arrived in Saudi Arabia and went to Medina before Hajj will return to the country on the first flights.

Based on the agreement between the Ministry of Hajj, Ariana Afghan, and Kam Air the said companies will equally operate 41 flights from the 13th of Zul Qaeda Until the 4th of Dhul-Hijjah.

The pilgrims were transported to Saudi Arabia through the Central, Kandahar, Balkh, and Herat zones, and these companies will carry back Afghan pilgrims to the country.
