Kabul (BNA) The national army personnel in combined and cleaning up operation in several provinces of the country, detained 22 suspects yesterday.
According to defense ministry press office, the mentioned operations carried out in the vicinities of Logar, Helmand, Khost, Urozgan, Maidan-Wardak, Ghazni, Kunduz and Kandahar provinces in which 22 suspects were detained.
A PK machine gun, 7 grenades, 700 PK bullets, 5 82mm guns, 3 boxes of rocket shells, and a number of militants’ propagation documents were seized by the national army forces in the operations.
Also six mines were defused by Afghan forces.
The source added, four personnel of the national army have been injured during security missions in the vicinities of Kandahar and Kunduz provinces.
