Kabul (BNA) The first vice president Mohammad Younus Qanooni received yesterday some elders and intellectuals from Baghlan, Samangan, Parwan, Kapisa and some elders from Sadat Peace Council of Afghanistan BNA reports.
According to presidential press office to BNA, in the meeting which was also attended by some lawmakers, some elders of the mentioned provinces briefed the vice president about the problems in the provinces. They also hailed the national security forces for ensuring security during the first round of the elections and announced their support to security organs.
The vice president while lauded the constructive role of the people in ensuring security said that the people give legitimacy to the governments across the world and the people of Afghanistan by sending their sons to the rank of the security forces support the system.
Qanooni also hoped that the people of Afghanistan like the first round of the elections would vastly participate in the second round to foil the enemies’ conspiracies.
The vice president also instructed concerned ministries to pay attention for the solution of the people’s problems in the provinces.
