People’s Servant Party of Afghanistan Opened In Kabul

Kabul (BNA) The People’s Servant Party of Afghanistan led by Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen former minister of Information and Culture and chairman of Kabul citizen’s overall council was opened during an official ceremony, attended by thousands of people, including culturists, civil society activists, media representatives, academicians and university lecturers and students here on Thursday, BNA reported.
Delivering his remarks, Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen founder and president of the political party said the party was established through the efforts of a number of elite figures, including university lecturers, professors, students, religious scholars, culturists and artists, aiming to move Afghanistan towards success on the basis of law and Islamic teachings.
“Afghanistan has witnessed many ups and downs and the political parties only thought about their own interests. The people’s servant party of Afghanistan comprised of people from all over Afghanistan whichtheir hands were not infected with the blood of innocent people and have never been in political parties before, inaugurating at the time thatthe country facing many challenges and the party to spare no efforts in serving the people and bringing about positive changes,” Dr. Raheen noted.
Meanwhile a number of other speakers, including deputies of the party HelayNikzad and Razia Nooristani as well as university lecturers Dr. Alawi and Omid Afghan representing the party’s central council spoke related to activities of the party and ongoing situation in the country and emphasized on good governance and fundamental reforms.
The speakers criticized works of other political parties in the country, saying their selfish works have led to devastation of Afghanistan.
