Kabul (BNA) 25 armed Taliban were killed in a number of operations by Afghan security forces in several provinces of the country last night.
According to interior ministry, the operations were launched in the relevant areas of Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunduz, Kandahar, Urozgan, Logar, Khost, Paktia, Herat and Helmand provinces as a result of which 25 rebels arrested.
A quantity of heavy and light weapons consists of 3 Kalashnikovs, a rocket launcher, 47 different types of mines, 3 motorbikes packed with explosives and 3 vehicles were seized.
