Faizabad (BNA) Flash floods brought financial damages in Khawahan district, Badakhshan province the other day.
Dr. Ofran Zaki district governor of Khawahan said BNA, due to heavy flash floods dozens of agricultural lands, two gardens, and two residential houses have been destroyed and ten livestock perished in the center of the district.
Mr. Zaki added, two small hydro power plants and two water mills also destroyed following the floods.
He further added, the exact number of the human casualties is not clear yet, but the survey team has been dispatch to the sit for more investigations.
