MAYMANA (BNA) Heavy rainfall brought flash floods in the last two days in Qaisar, Almar, Bilchiragh, and Gurziwan districts of Faryab killing 1 person and causing vast financial losses to the mentioned residents of the northern districts of the province on Monday.
Faryab’s director of information and culture Mawlvi Shamsuddin Mohammadi told said to Bakhtar news agency reporter Faizullah “floods killed one person in Bilchiragh district, adding the crops of hundreds of acres of farmland and gardens were destroyed.”
Mohammadi the director of Information and Culture in Faryab called on national and international aid agencies to assist the suffered residents of the natural incident.
