Kabul (BNA) The defense minister General Bismillah Mohammadi in meeting with the visiting chairman of Chiefs of Staff of America here emphasized for enhancing cooperation and equipping national army.
Briefing the US dignitary on the security situation and security transition process, General Mohammadi said that the Afghan security forces are capable enough to take over the full security responsibility of the country.
He also demanded the continued support of US to the national army particularly providing aircrafts for the air force.
Moreover, the defense minister noted that the process of capacity building is going on and merit is taking into account in appointment cadres based on national unity.
