HERAT (BNA) Flow of floods and heavy rains caused huge financial losses to residents and some villages of Pashtun Zarghun district of Herat province.
Recent floods destroyed residential houses, water canals, and farmland in this district of the province.
Mullana Noor Ahmad Islam jar the governor of Herat visited some destroyed places of Pashtun Zarghun and districts and promised to residents to assist the flooded people. Said reports from the press office of Herat.
The governor of Herat expressed his gratitude to the people for their patience and called on the people to cooperate with the government to prevent floods.
Residents of vulnerable and remote villages in the Pashtun Zarghun district also expressed their gratitude for the presence of the governor of Herat in their areas.
