MAYMANA (BNA) The past two days of heavy rainfall brought flash floods causing vast financial and human losses to the residents of Faryab province.
At least ten people were killed and 15 others had been injured flew flash floods said the Head of information and culture of Faryab to BNA.
Flashfloods hundreds of acres of land, ten dams, dozens of shops, clinics, a number of livestock, four bridges, and the roads of Chehlgazi and Qaisar districts with the provincial capital have been cut off.
Head of Information and Culture of Faryab said residents of the Faryad are severely damaged and need dire humanitarian aid.
According to the Information and Culture department of Fayab, the resident called on the Disaster management department and other humanitarian aid organizations for humanitarian assistance.
