Floods Victims Received Aid in Kapisa, Bamyan

PROVINCIAL(BNA) The Natural Disaster Management Department of Kapisa distributed food items to 220 families affected by the floods in that province, on Tuesday.

The provincial head of natural disaster Management, Mawlavi Mohammad Saber Ahmed, in Kapisa, said to BNA that these families were previously surveyed by the disaster management department, and food items were distributed to each family.

Meanwhile, the World Food Program distributed food to thousands of needy families in Bamyan, on Tuesday, said another report.

Sediqullah Shaheen, a spokesperson for the Bamyan commander of Police said to BNA that the WFP, in cooperation with another charity foundation distributed food to 3,600 families of martyrs, the disabled, the displaced, and destitute immigrants in the center of Bamyan.

Each family, received 50kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 6kg of chickpeas, salt, and 30 packets of nutrients, he added.
