Kabul (BNA) During the last 24 hours security forces launched several clearing operations in different parts of the country.
Ministry of Interior press office said BNA, the operations launched aiming to eliminate armed rebels in relevant areas of Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kandahar, Zabul, Maida/Wardak, Logar, Ghazni, Paktia and Helmand provinces, as a result of which two armed insurgents were killed three wounded and nine others arrested.
Some heavy and light weapons and military equipment have been seized in the operations.
According to another report, recently, police forces discovered and neutralized nine anti-vehicle mines in relevant areas of Daikundi, Baghlan, Tahar, Herat and Ghor provinces.
