Meeting Reviews Private Banks’ Problems

Kabul (BNA) Chaired by Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, a meeting was held to review problems of private banks, cut down high expenditures of security measures and protect and safety of banks.
In the meeting, officials of the Central Bank delivered report related to security expenditures of private banks and operation expenditures of banks to chief executive, saying that 116.3 billion Afghani has been spent for all security measures during 1397 fiscal year. Not providing uniforms and equipment to soldiers, lack of necessary trainings and others were enumerated as problems of the Afghan Public Protection Forces (APPF). They asked for attention to address the problems and cut down expenditures on banks. After hearing their problems, Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah said particular attention should be paid to the Afghan Public Protection police forces, stressing on providing professional training to the police soldiers. Chief executive added that police uniforms should be standard and high quality, saying that problems of the APPF would be discussed in APPF high council meeting.
