FM Muttaqi Meets Ambassador, Delegates of Central Asian

KABUL (BNA) Amir Khan Muttaqi Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan met with ambassadors plus delegates of Central Asian countries to discuss transit routes and railway trades.

“The ambassadors of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, delegates of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan attended in a meeting with foreign minister Mr. Amir Khan Muttaqi,” said Balkhi Spokesman of the Ministry.

Foreign Minister praised relations, trade, and economic ties between Afghanistan and Central Asia, and stressed the need to grab new opportunities for the benefit of the region. Quoted Balkhi at the meeting.

“He stressed the need for joint work and cooperation in the field of energy transit through Afghanistan,” said Balkhi.

Likewise, ambassadors of Central Asia assured further cooperation by boosting trade, transit, and railways and say good diplomatic ties are of mutual interest with Afghanistan.

Afghanistan Modern Silk Road trade transit simplify the border procedures between the 17 countries of the Silk Road and several international organizations, same like, Chabahar port provides Iran with direct access to the Indian and connects Afghanistan Gulf Countries, African Countries, and China which is an important economic hub in the world.
