Kabul (BNA) It is planned that a tri-lateral consultative meeting with participation of Russia, China and Pakistan to be held in December of current year in Moscow.
According to the assertions made by the authorities of Russian foreign affairs ministry, this meeting would discuss on improvement of regional cooperation with Afghanistan.
Pakistan has said it makes effort to find a way for reconciliation and establishment of peace in Afghanistan. Quoting from spokesperson of foreign ministry of this country, Nafis Zekria, we believe in all programs that aim to bring stability in Afghanistan and in the region. Opinions on trilateral meeting on Afghanistan In its weekly conference, this authority of Pakistan cleared: previously, a working visit has been taken place about holding of this tri-lateral meeting. The security situation of Afghanistan is worsening with passing of time, the concerns are increasing about expansion of its impacts because of presence of insurgent groups in this country.
The analysis in official new report of foreign ministry of Russia on stance of Afghanistan is focusing the attention about situation in the region i.e from diplomatic point of view of Russia, Afghanistan is regarded as a collection of foreign threats. The government of Afghanistan kept its silence in the connection. But the Afghan experts believe this meeting would have no impact on situation of Afghanistan. A university lecturer in international relations in regard with importance of Afghanistan for Russia said: central Asia is important for Russia. Based on the same, having common border of Central Asia with Afghanistan, is also important for this country. But, I have no such imagine about effectiveness of this meeting over stability of Afghanistan. Because, Afghanistan is not involved in it. If a country wants a stable Afghanistan, naturally, it should discuss with its government and people. But, when only neighbors are invited and Afghanistan has no place in it, I think it would bring no stability to Afghanistan. On the other, previously, Russia had no so warm relation with Pakistan, but now, in few upcoming days, Russia would host a meeting with agenda of improvement of regional cooperation and Pakistan also would attend in it with invitation of this country.
A diplomat during the reign of Taliban, Waheed Muzhda said: As of 2006 to date, Russia has relation with Taliban. Likewise, a witness in military affairs and intelligence services, Jawaid Kohistani has said that the relation between Russia and Taliban is aimed for control of al-Qaida and Daesh grouping that possibly would exist in central Asia. Pakistan pursues its own interest and Russia works to weaken terrorist groups in Afghanistan. The stance of Pakistan is clear for Russia and reason behind attachment of Russia to Pakistan is its own interests. This is in a time that recently, the relation of Pakistan with the US is not warm like before. Previously, the new president elect of the US has asserted time and again that to control Pakistan, his country should have soldier in Afghanistan. In his electoral campaign, Donald Trump had said that Pakistan is the supporter of terrorism and if he win, the financial assistance of the US to Pakistan would be cut. On the other, in the past, the relation of Russia was further warm with India comparing Pakistan. But, according to political witnesses, with tendency of India to the US, possibly, Russia is closing to Pakistan. At the same time, it should be confessed that access to durable stability in this country is impossible within five to ten years, only we can get access relatively to conditioned stability.
This relatively stability relates more with reduction of military and financial resources of opponents and other resources comparing to international efforts. With their partnership, the regional countries in larger trans-border projects belong to fiefdom of Afghanistan, express their own preparedness for maintaining of their security. It is natural that promotion of this primary process is impossible without partnership of Pakistan, China, India and Iran. Among these four potential nations, there is a harsh conflict and this pave the way that Iran and Russia to negotiate about Afghanistan with cooperation of China. For this, need is felt for protection of political, economic ties with central Asian nations, Pakistan and India.
