US Embassy Allocates USD150 Million For Execution Of Law, Fight Narcotics

Kabul (BNA) The US embassy in Kabul had laid down USD 150 million at the disposal of the government of Afghanistan for using it in struggle against narcotics and execution of its law in the country.
The agreement to this end was signed by Deputy Minister for political Affairs of Foreign Ministry Jawed Ludeen and James Kunnigham deputy US ambassador to Afghanistan.
Jawed Ludeen said that today we are signing an agreement with the US valuing USD150 million that is assisting us in implementation of the projects such as execution of justice, consolidation of law and struggle against narcotics.
It should be noted that this US assistance to Afghanistan is part of her prior commitments towards Afghanistan that formerly the US had committed provision of USD 389 million of which use will be made for upgrading the capacities of the justice foundation and struggle against narcotics.
