Mehtarlam (BNA) Five armed Taliban rebels were killed in Alishing District Laghman province.
Shir Aqa Faqiri spokesman for Selab 201 army corps told BNA, the rebels were killed in a conflict by security forces in Alishing Kohna region, Alishing District, Laghman province.
He added, three other rebels have been injured in the conflict as well.
According to another report, 14 rebels were killed in Sar-e-Pul province.
The rebels were killed in Gosfandi District, of the province.
Mohammad Hanif Rezaee spokesman of Shaheen 209 army corps told BNA the rebels have been killed in a clash by afghan security forces in the Gosfandi District.
In the event, six other insurgents were also injured and 11 regions have been cleared from insurgents in that province.
