For the First Time People get Access to Drinkable water in Sar-e-Pul

SAR-e-PUL(BNA) Hundreds of families in Sar-e Pol have access to drinkable water for the first time.

Along With construction of the water supply network, residents of Sar-e-Pul province received access to drinkable water in Sancharak district of the province.

According to reports, the water of these two networks supplied through solar energy.

Mohammad Yaqub Abdul Rahman Akeh, the Governor of Sar-e-Pul, said at the opening ceremony of the water supply network in Sancharak that they are trying to provide welfare and comfort to the citizens by building infrastructure and implementing projects.

He urged villagers in Sar-e Pul to take good care of their water networks.

The head of Sar-e-Pul Rural Rehabilitation and Development told BNA that the construction of the two water supply networks cost about 4.3 million afghanis.

Along With the construction of these networks, seven hundred and eighty-one families in Sancharak district had access to safe drinking water for the first time.
