Today, Afghanistan-Turkey’s Relations Become 92 Years Old

Kabul (BNA) While 92 years elapses from the signing of friendship treaty between Afghanistan and Turkey, relations between Afghanistan and Turkey has been further consolidated and becomes stable.
In the statement released from the spokesperson of Foreign Ministry, it is said that friendship between Afghanistan and Turkey has historical background for cultural, civilization, religious bonds between the two nations is further growing in the course of history and ties between the two nations are getting further deepened.
Today, 13th of Hoot relations between Afghanistan and Turkey become 92 years old and both countries will celebrate this occasion.
President Hamid Karzai in his visit to Turkey in 2010 while agreeing on celebrating First of March each year in Kabul and Istanbul, the day when the friendship treaty was signed between Afghanistan and Turkey, called Turkey a modern Islamic country and asked for further expansion of bilateral ties of cooperation between the two countries in all spheres.
The minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Zalmai Rassoul said that” relations of Afghanistan with Turkey are the closest, vast and the best type of ties for Afghanistan.
Cooperation and ties between the two nations has been unprecedentedly developed in the recent decade and this indicates the signs of trust and mutual sincerity between our nations and governments.
The friendship treaty between Afghanistan and turkey was signed by Mohammad Wali Khan Darwazi ambassador of Afghanistan to Russia and the Turkish ambassador in Moscow.
It is expected that today the 92nd anniversary of signing of the friendship treaty is marked at the Foreign Ministry in Kabul.
