New MoIC Deputy Minister Introduced

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Tahir Zuhair, Acting Minister of Information and Culture, introduced Abdul Bashir Hakimi, who has been recently appointed as the Deputy Minister of Finance, Admin and Tourism of the Ministry of Information and Culture based on a presidential decree, to the employees of the ministry here yesterday, Bakhtar Information Agency reported.

According to the Agency,Ahmad Zia Anwari, Director of Human Resources of the Ministry of Information and Culture, readout the decree of the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan regarding the appointment of Abdul Bashir Hakimi as the new Deputy Minister of Finance, Admin and Tourism.

Later, Mohammad Tahir Zuhair, the Acting Minister of Information and Culture, spoke about changes in civil departments, noting that in order to improve working affairs, change was a completely accepted matter in the administration.

He also praised the work and efforts of Professor Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi, former Deputy Minister of Finance, Admin and Tourism of the Ministry of Information and Culture, and said that Mostafavi has served for many years as deputy ministers of Publications and then as of Finance, Admin and Tourism.

The Acting Minister of Information and Culture also praised the new Deputy Minister and wished him success in his work.

Afterwards, Ahmadullah Naweed, the Deputy Director General of Communications of the Administrative Office of the president hinted at the changes process in departments and said: “Abdul Bashir Hakimi is one of the well-educated cadres in the country, and I hope he shines well in this ministry.” Then, the new Deputy Minister thanked the President and the leadership of the Ministry of Information and Culture for considering him at this post.

He pledged to work with the leadership of the Ministry of Information and Culture to grow the tourism industry and improve the administrative affairs.
