Kabul (BNA) The first military radio was inaugurated with presence of some officers of Shaheen 209 national army corps under the name of Payam Haq (Right Message) within the framework of second brigade infantry of Pamir 30 Corp in Badakhshan province.
Col. Adena Mohammad Azad information operation chief of Shaheen 209 military corps told BNA, the aim creation of the radio in Badakhshan is to stand against anti-government propaganda and morale of the Afghan militaries during the combats.
He added the radio has the capacity of 300 watts, and can cover up 50km area; however Badakhshan is a mountain country.
Radio Payam Haq will be broadcasted on 107.1 waves.
Through the radio the achievements and activities of the militaries will be broadcasted to people.
