KABUL (BNA): Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it convened a consultative meeting on Wednesday to discuss the government’s achievement and fulfillment plus current issues.
The meeting was attended by several senior Islamic Emirate officials, spokesmen, writers, and media activists, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi told the gathering that the Islamic Emirate’s relations with the international community were enhancing and the process of interaction with the world was getting healthier day to day.
Muttaqi said since the advent of the Islamic Emirate, domestic expenditure has been met by national income, corruption in government institutions has been eliminated and economic movements have improved.
Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai Deputy Foreign Minister spoke on media activities adding spokesmen and media activists must present the current situation based on facts and the country and It attracts the attention of the people of the world.
In the end, media activities of government agencies were studied and crucial consultations were carried out on their evolution.
