KABUL (BNA) The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stankzai met with Chinese ambassador to Kabul, Mr. Wang Yu, on Sunday.
Both sides, discussed issues of mutual interest, including security during a meeting, said a statement released Sunday by Afghan Foreign Ministry.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, thanked China’s humanitarian aid for Afghanistan, Stankzai stressed the need of strengthening and expanding economic relations with China, according to the Ministry’s statement.
For his part, the Chinese ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the overall security in Afghanistan and asked for more attention from the Islamic Emirate in securing the security of this country’s political mission in Kabul.
Afterward, Stankzai assured the Chinese ambassador that the Islamic Emirate will not allow anyone to use Afghanistan’s soil against another country.
