Takhar (BNA) The construction work of a Darul Uloom in Taluqan city central Takhar began today with the presence of the officials of the Islamic Emirate.
Mawlana Habibullah Hanafi, the director of Takhar Guidance and Invitation, told BNA that the foundation stone of Dar-ul-Ulum, of Shahid Zaid Jihad, was laid on two acres of land in Kanjak village of Saraysang in Taluqan.
According to Hanafi, the academy will be built in three floors at a cost of 12,500,000 Afghanis with the help of local people and will accommodate more than 800 students.
The Director of Guidance and Endowment of Takhar appreciated the cooperation of the people in the construction of mosques and educational centers.
