Mopping-Up Operations Leaves 35 Insurgents Dead

Kabul (BNA) At least 35 Armed insurgents were killed and a number of them were wounded during mopping-up operations led by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) in different parts of the country.
Press office of 205 Atal National Crops reported (BNA) the operations under code name of Ghaleb were launched aiming to eliminate armed oppositions in insecure areas of Kandahar, Urozgan and Zabul provinces.
Also some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions, seven vehicles and 20 motorcycles of the insurgents have been discovered and seized following the operations by Afghan security forces.
