Kabul (BNA) More than 107 armed oppositions were killed and 43 others were wounded during 14 joint military operations conducted by Afghan security forces in various parts of the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office stated BNA, the operations were conducted by support of Afghan air and artillery forces to annihilate anti-government militias and protect the lives and properties of people in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Laghman, Ghazni, Logar, Kandahar, Urozgan, Badghis, Ghor, Balkh, Faryab, Badakhshan, Baghlan and Helmand provinces.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and war equipment have been discovered and seized during the operations, the source added.
