Kabul (BNA) Counter terrorism, international coalition forces, started attacks on Taliban strongholds to topple a regime that backed the supporter of September 11th attacks which cost the lives of at least 3000 Americans.
US forces bombarded targets on October 7th, 2001 in Afghanistan to topple the Taliban regime that denied handing over Osama bin laden the leader of Al-Qaeda who was blamed for September 11th attacks on America.
Meanwhile the regime emerged as the most extremist and short minded regime in the world which did not respect the rights of its citizens and opposed women and girls education and backed terrorist activities in the country.
The air attacks of international coalition forces and the ground attacks of Mujaheedin led to the toppling of nefarious regime of Taliban. After the collapse of Taliban, interim government established with the leadership of Mr. Hamid Karzai.
There is no doubt that American led international coalition forces air attacks shortened the life of Taliban fundamentalist and extremist government and paved the way for Afghanistan to inter in to another phase of life where human rights, freedom of expression and the equal rights of the citizens are guaranteed.
The Afghans consider reaching to those objectives as a result of international community’s cooperation; and they are committed for establishment of a safe world, free of violence and supremacy. But there are still issues, the world community at the top US should focus on them.
During the air attacks of international coalition forces on military and civilian targets, the major part of the installations were completely damaged or sustained heavy losses.
In addition, as a results of the attacks, the great part of our national properties which were under the control of Taliban were destroyed, for instance several Arianna passenger planes which were at the airports of the country targeted and razed to the ashes. But unfortunately, during the last 11 years the international community and NATO led forces which inflicted heavy destructions on public properties, had made nothing for rehabilitation public utility projects damaged as a results of NATO air attacks.
In addition to the shortages mentioned above, eleven years have been lasted since the incursion of foreign forces and the collapse of Taliban regime, but regretfully still they active and escalated their attacks against Afghan and international troops.
Although 11 years have lasted, from NATO attacks to the positions of Taliban and the collapse of their notorious regime, unfortunately, the international forces have not achieved their aim which is the eradication of Al- Qaeda terrorist network. That satanic network is not only active in this part of the world, but attack on their target in western countries.
Although 11 years have past since the attacks on Taliban positions and toppling down their brutal regime, they still enjoy having safe havens behind Durand Line. From there they organize their terrorist and suicide attacks against Afghan innocent people and destruction of their houses and properties, but the supporter of these terrorists, that is very clear, considers by the successors of September 11 incident victims as their strategic partner and friend.
During the 11 years, a great number of foreign troops including more than 2000 American troops have been killed in war against terrorism in Afghanistan, but regretfully, the western countries ignoring the realities, pay no attention to the strongholds of terrorism located beyond the borders of Afghanistan and have involved their selves in a eroding war which is organizing and directing from beyond the Durand Line by so called their friends and strategic partner.
It would be better to provide a situation, in order the mankind including Americans and Afghans to live in peace and there be no room for repetition of September 11, incident and devastating war, like the one going on in Afghanistan and such an atmosphere could be created only by complete eradication of terrorist networks.
