Faryab Cultural Problems Discussed With Minister Jahani

Kabul (BNA) Faryab representatives at the house of people discussed cultural problems of the province with the Minister of Information and Culture here in Kabul on Sunday.
According to BNA, MPs, Dr. Naqibullah Fayeq and Dr. Gul Mohammad Rasuli asked Minster of Information and Culture, Abdul Bari Jahani for paying attention to the numerous historical relics available in the province and that to lodge the Uzbek and Turkmen languages in the Faryab provincial and Kabul Radio Television of Afghanistan (RTA). They also asked for a positive change in the cultural affairs of the province. The minister of information and culture promised to do more for development of the provincial cultural issues. According to another report, chief of Asar Cultural and Scientifics Institute, the other day asked the ministry of information and culture to tackle the cultural problems it was now facing. The representatives, Eng. Abdul Rahim sought cooperation of the ministry on popularization of the Islamic accepted traditions in the wedding and mourning ceremonies and rescuing the society from inapposite expenses and replacement of sound contest with those unsound. He drew attention of the ministry towards publishing of a book ‘hidden treasuries should be revealed’, providing an office within the ministry of information and culture for voluntary work and provision of the international press hall of the ministry for his led institution’s conferences and meetings. The minister at the end promised to try his best to do more for the institution and spare no efforts to tackle its problems.
