Kabul (BNA) Eklil Hakimi, Minister of Finance met ambassador Hugo Llorens, the Special Charge D’ affaires of the U.S. Embassy in the presence of Shubham Chaudhuri, director of the World Bank Afghanistan, Najeebullah Ahmadzai, chairman of independent election commission and UN representative.
The meeting discussed on the success of the Senior Officials Meeting (SOM), preparation for the next parliamentary elections, financing and using technology for more transparency of the process.
The Charge affairs of the U.S. Embassy welcomed the success of SOM meeting and assured of international funding for the parliamentary elections.
