Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met and praised Ms. Sara one of the preservers of the Holy Quran at the presidential palace on Saturday, a presidential office statement said.
At the outset Kabul’s Hajj and Religious Affairs director Hafizullah Salam thanked President Ghani for praising the preserver of the Holy Quran, adding Masjids have turned as centers for dissemination of Islamic teachings and that the ministry was trying to promote Quran studies. Meanwhile, Ms. Sara also thanked President Ghani for his attention, asking the president to pay attention to the Madrassa where she studies the Holy Quran. Congratulating Sara for preserving the Holy Quran, President Ghani said in line with cooperation of the Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs as well as the Local Organs Directorate, elite preservers of the Holy Quran would be praised after the month of Ramadan. The president said government would prepare a plan to support activities of the Darul-Quran in the country, the statement concluded.
