Tuesday May 27, 2014 Kabul (BNA) During an operation conducted by National army forces, four insurgents killed, several others wounded and 47 mines have been discovered. Spokesperson of National Defense Ministry told BNA, National army forces aiming to ensure peace and stability launched a clearing operation in relevant areas of Chora district, Urozgan province, in which four gunmen were killed and six others wounded. The Source added, 47 mines have been discovered and defused by National army forces following the operation. According to another report: National army forces launched an operation resulted to the killing of four insurgents and wounding some others. Spokesman of Defense Ministry said BNA, Afghan National Army (ANA) forces conducted the operation in relevant areas of Sangeen district, Helmand province as a result of which four gunmen were killed and three others wounded. Likewise, in a similar operation launched by (ANA) in Shindand district, Herat province, an armed oppositions was killed and some weapons and ammunitions have been seized.
