Govt. To Improve Security: Dustom

Kabul (BNA) The First Vice-President, General Abdul Rashid Dustom after inspecting the site of the suicide attack in 9th district of Kabul Tuesday morning said that the government would improve security as its prime objective.
In talks with journalists, the vice-president blamed foreign intelligence agencies for organizing terrorist attacks in Kabul and other parts of the country, saying, “We would recognize their hideouts in the country and smash them.” 
Three suicide bombers targeted a foreign firm in Despichary area at 6:30 am local time killing themselves and two guards of the company. Gen. Dustom also said hundreds of militants will soon lay down arms and join to government.  According to another report, the first vice-president received a delegation of female parliamentarians the other day. Speaking on behalf of others, Humaira Ayoubi and Nafisa Azimi expressed concerned about security problems and corruption at customs’ departments as well as violence against women. In his address to the delegation, Gen. Dustom said that ending security problems is the government’s prime objective and would spare no efforts to achieve it. The vice-president also said he is a strong supporter of women rights and would do his best to facilitate more women and girl to get education. According to another report, acting minister for public health, Dr. Suraya Dalil at the head of a group of women called on Gen. Dustom and exchanged views on the women problems. The vice-president described women role in society very important and said the National Unity Government would spare no efforts to solve the women problems in society.
