Kabul (BNA) Minister of Information and Culture Dr. Sayed Makhdom Raheen chaired the preparatory meeting of the commission for organizing of National Nauruz Festival, which was attended by representatives of the ministries of foreign affairs, interior, agriculture and irrigation, public health, women affairs, energy and water, transport, finance and commerce and industries and that of general directorate of national security, environment protection, some government officials and the Kabul municipality.
Dr. Raheen informed the meeting about the Nauruz festival and added that it is expected that this year’s Nauruz festival is arranged with dignity and credibility and the festival will be witness from kite flying to theater plays, musical and sports events and the exhibitions.
The second part of this meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Information and Culture for Publication Mubarez Rashidi and the representatives of the related organs explained their part at the festival.
The meeting decided that the coming meeting of the commission should be held on Sunday of coming week.
