Last Decade’s Major Achievements; Result of Coordination: Khalili

Kabul (BNA) A number of Mohmand and Shinwar elders and influential figures met with Second-Vice President, Mohammad Karim Khalili and expressed their condolence with him, on the 19th martyrdom anniversary of Ostad Abdul Ali Mazari and the demise of Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim.
According to presidential press office to BNA, lauding the work of the government over the last more than one decade, the elders said: “Afghanistan achieved high level of triumph and victories under the wise leadership of President Hamid Karzai and your cooperation.”
They said the fresh accomplishments, the Afghan people had made in the past decade, are not incomparable with any other historical periods, the elders said hoping the next government could do more in different spheres like the current government.
The elders discussed many problems they faced in their districts and asked for paying attention by the government. Appreciating, the elders’ sympathies on the 19th martyrdom of Ostad Abdul Ali Mazari and death of Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim, Afghanistan’s first-vice president, Khalili called Afghans a united nation sharing in their grief and joy. Khalili said the visiting elders demands would be met and hoped the next government could go ahead exercising the same method. Lauding the people cooperation with the government, he said great part of the country’s last decade achievements had been earned under the similar coordination.
