Kabul (BNA): Hamid Karzai President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan strongly condemned killing of five members of a family by Taliban in Baghlan province.
According to the Ministry of Interior Affairs armed Taliban on Friday evening martyred five members of a family traveling in a vehicle from Aliabad district of Kunduz province to Baghlan to participate in a wedding ceremony.
Their vehicle was stopped in Jar-e-Khushk area of central Baghlan district and shot dead.
Hamid Karzai called brutally killing of the members a family traveling to participate in a wedding party as killing of Muslims and clear enmity with happiness of Afghan people.
The president strongly condemned this cowardly act, saying Taliban by killing innocent people and changing their happiness to grief and sadness had to know that they couldn’t escape from hatred of people in this world and painful torture in other world.
President Karzai expressed his deep condolence and sympathy to the martyred family and wished them patience.
