Afghanistan Records 260 Additional Cases of COVID-19 in the Last 24 Hours

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan has recorded 260 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s total cases to 47,901 on Wednesday.

Officials in ministry of public health reported, with 10 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the toll has mounted to 1,875.

The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in the country stands at 8,244, as of Sunday.

The total discharged cases are at 37,782 with 297 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

It is mentionable that until now 158,811 samples of coronavirus has been tested in laboratories of the ministry across the country, the officials added.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 66,608,379 and the deaths are reported to more than 1,529,969 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
