Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani held video conference with the World Bank (WB) chief, Jim Yong Kim on Tuesday and thanked him over the bank support to Afghanistan.
Presidential press office said BNA; the president also said that the sharing of WB experiences in other countries with Afghanistan is vital in rebuilding the country.
The chief of the WB besides expressing happiness over formation of the new Afghan government assured the president that the leading international lending agency would continue to support Afghanistan on long-term basis. President Ghani said at the video conference that the Afghan government in the framework of the regional cooperation wants to utilize the opportunities for the prosperity of Afghanistan.
