Kabul (BNA) Afghan National Army ANA conducting especial clearing operation for eliminating of Daesh fighters in Acheen district of Nangarhar province during the past 24 hours cleared 18 villages.
Spokesman for ANA in the East of the country Mohammad Nohman Atifi told BNA, the operation named Shaheen succeeded to clear 18 villages from Daesh fighters.
He added, in the operation 2 Daesh militants were killed and 4 others wounded.
Also security forces after clearing the villages create security posts for families who had fled for fear of being Daesh returned to their homes again.
It has been said, the operation is still continuing in some parts of Acheen district.
