Substandard Oil Shipped Back to Iran

KABUL (BNA) Local officials in the Islamic Emirate of Nimroz say that on Monday the chairmanship of the department repatriated 500,000 liters of substandard oil imported from Iran to the province.

The Nimroz Department of Norms and Standards says laboratory tests have revealed that the imported oil had poor quality.

Qari Abdul Rahim Huzaifa, director of criminal investigations at the Nimroz police headquarters, said the fuel had been brought in 12 truckrs carrying about 500,000 liters of fuel.

Despite the fact that senior officials of the Islamic Emirate earlier have also banned the import of substandard goods from the country.
