Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani awarded the second degree state medal of Baryal to Gen. Gordon Davis, the commander of CSTC-A in Afghanistan, a presidential statement said.
In the ceremony held in Arg, the president thanked General Gordon’s assistance with National Procurement Commission, praising his works for establishment of a proper system and mechanism of procurement process at the Ministry of National Defense.
General Gordon Davis commander of the CSTC-A has done extraordinary works in training, professionalization, providing facilities and equipping of the Afghan National Security Forces.
The medal was awarded to General Gordon Davis, during a special ceremony at the Presidential Palace in appreciation of his services and US government generous assistance to Afghanistan.
