Twelve Member Group of Taliban Joined Peace Process

Herat (BNA) A 12 member group of armed Taliban were jointed peace process in Herat province.
The group earlier carried out terrorist activities against government in Adersekan district of the province; they vowed to cooperate in ensuring security in the district.
Sayed Fazlullah Wahidi governor of Herat during appreciation of the group said, the local office try to provide work opportunities to the groups who join to peace process.
An official of peace committee of Herat said that the group led by Mullah Nader gave up violence and joined to peace process.
He said the group also surrendered their heavy and light weapons to peace process.
