Prayer And Recitation of Holy Quran Held In Kabul

Kabul (BNA) Prayer and recitation of holy Quran on soul of late Ustad Abdul Qayoum Beisad, a well-known artist and the father Afghan theater was held yesterday by ministry of information and culture and the deceased family in Kabul.
The ceremony was held in Shir Shah Souri mosque with participation of deputy minister of information and culture Sayed Musadiq Khalili, advisor of MoIC Jalal Noorani, a number of officials of MoIC, Dr. Zalmai Hewadmal advisor in cultural affairs to the President, a number of government officials, colleagues and members of the deceased family.
Ustad Abdul Qayoum Beised, who was born in 1928 in Deh Afghanan of Kabul, after graduation from Istiqlal High School, started his artistic working career in ‘Puhani Nandari’(theater)
The deceased spent 60 years of his life for the service in theater and played in more than 300 plays.
Ustad Beisad passed away two days ago at the age 85 due to illness he was suffering.
