Kabul (BNA) A newsman was beaten late Sunday night by unknown armed men in the area of Golae Khwaja Bughra related to the Kabul 15th police district.
The Editor-in-Chief of The Afghanistan Times, Abdul Saboor Sarir while he was on the way to home from office attacked by unknown armed men and took his vehicle, laptop and cell phones after beating him.
After restoration of his health, Sarir told BNA reporter that the unknown armed individuals planned to kidnap him, but with the cooperation of local people, he succeeded to get rescue from the claws of kidnappers.
