35 new COVID-19 Cases Recorded in Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan recorded 35 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the nation’s overall tally to 38,641, the Public Health Ministry said on Saturday.
In a statement, the ministry said 208 suspected people underwent tests, with 35 diagnosed with the infection during the period.
At least 21 new cases registered in Ghor, eight in Balkh, three in Kandahar, two in Badghis and one in Herat provinces, the ministry said.
Meanwhile one died from the disease during the past 24 hours, the ministry said, adding that 80 people recovered from the pandemic during the period.
So far, 31,234 people have recovered and 1,420 died from the novel coronavirus in the country.
