Kabul (BNA) 127 Taliban insurgents were killed following military operations led by Afghan National Army (ANA) forces in 12 provinces of the country during the last 24 hours.
Ministry of Defense press office reported BNA, Afghan National Army forces have been lunched the operations in relevant areas of Takhar, Maidan/Wardak, Kunduz, Faryab, Kunar, Paktika, Ghazni, Khost, Nangarhar, Uruzgan, Heart and Helmand provinces, as a result 127 armed oppositions were killed, 93 wounded and 5 other insurgents arrested.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions, war equipment and different types of mines have been seized and neutralized at the end of the operations.
According to another report, 12 Afghan National Army personnel were martyred, due to throwing of heavy weapons by militants and roadside mines explosions across the country.
